ORANGE BELGIUM AND ELEVEN SPORTS EXTEND THEIR PARTNERSHIP

Orange Belgium and Eleven Sports signed a new agreement for the next 2 seasons (2019-2020 & 2020-2021) on the distribution of Eleven Sports 1, 2 and 3. All three channels remain included in HD in Orange´s standard digital TV package, free of charge, for Orange Love customers to watch at home, but also on the go via the Orange TV app (available as from this summer).

With Eleven Sports, Orange customers enjoy the best international football competitions (with an average of 10 live La Liga football matches/week, 5 live Serie A matches/week, 5 live Bundesliga matches/week, 8 live FA Cup matches per round, live matches from the UEFA Nations League, Euro 2020 Qualifiers and UEFA Friendlies, live matches from the English EFL Championship and EFL Cup). They can also follow basketball with the NBA Live (4 regular season games a week, All Star Weekend, the best of the Playoffs and Finals games),American Football with the NFL Live (2 regular season games a week, the best of the playoff games and Super Bowl) and many other live sports competitions: MMA (Cage Warriors, UFC), hockey, cycling, darts, snooker, ...

Cristina Zanchi, Chief Consumer Officer of Orange Belgium, explains: "Almost 70% of Belgian consumers show interest in sports on TV, but only about 14% are ready to pay for it. This is the reason why we not only decided to renew our contract with Eleven Sports, but also to extend it to mobile TV. At Orange, we are very proud to keep offering more premium TV content, completely free of charge, to our Love subscribers and we are committed not to increase the price of our bundle.”

“Eleven Sports wants to bring its exclusive sports content to as many fans as possible, no matter the platform they are on. Therefore we’re excited that all Orange Love customers will now have access to Eleven Sports both at home and on the go,” says Anouk Mertens, Managing Director, Belgium, Eleven Sports.

Today Orange is still the only telecom operator in Belgium offering Eleven Sports; and thus the best of international sports competitions; without customers having to pay extra.
