Orange Belgium announces a unique partnership with Google for the launch of the Google Nest Hub and Mini

Orange Belgium is Google’s exclusive telecom partner for the launch of its new smart devices and will offer them to new and existing clients at a heavily reduced price. Orange Belgium has always been committed to connecting its customers to what matters to them. Now, customers have the chance to turn their homes into Smart and Helpful homes – thanks to the power of Google’s new hardware line-up, now available in Belgium.

For Orange Belgium, it is important to invest where it matters to customers: in its network, its offers, but also in new-generation devices that make customers’ lives easier. Turning the music on, controlling connected devices, looking at photos, getting the news or an update on the day’s agenda, all without pressing a button… the Google Nest Hub and Mini are finally available on the Belgian market. And thanks to an exclusive telco partnership, Orange customers can buy the brand new Google devices at an exceptionally low price of €9 for the Mini (an 85% discount on the retail price) and €49 for the Nest Hub (60% off the retail price).

After a successful partnership with Google on the Chromecast, with thousands of customers enjoying the possibilities of mobile TV streaming, Orange Belgium is now offering its customers the chance to turn their homes into Smart and Helpful homes.

Michaël Trabbia, CEO of Orange Belgium: “We are committed to offering the best digital experience to our customers and want to ease their life to the maximum. Google’s technology, combined with our expertise in connectivity and customer experience are an excellent match and will allow us to offer the next level of digital comfort to our customers. At Orange, you don’t need to be a new customer to get a discount. This is why all our customers will benefit from our exceptional Google Nest Hub and Mini offer.

The Google Nest Mini and Hub harness the power and wit of the Belgian version of Google Assistant to make customers’ lives easier and give them all the information they want. Orange customers will enjoy using the new Mini to play their favorite music from Spotify, YouTube Music and more – in high quality, thanks to the enhanced quality of the built-in speaker. They can ask Google Assistant for help, and all kinds of information, from their personal schedule to traffic news, and the Mini lets them control other connected devices like thermostats or lights. They can also use it to launch their favorite streaming service on their TV via Chromecast.

With its elegant screen, the Google Nest Hub offers customers even more. They can use Home view to interact with connected devices: for example, to dim the lights, control the TV or monitor security cameras or their front door. They can use voice command to see photos by asking “Hey Google, show me the photos of my trip to Paris,” for instance. Voice command also lets them find information, watch YouTube videos and more.
