Orange Belgium announces changes to its Executive Committee
Orange Belgium today announces changes to its Executive Committee, reinforcing its leadership team to support the company’s next phase of transformation and growth. As part of this evolution, Olivier Bornet will take on the role of Chief Information Officer as of 1 May, and Nathalie Rahbani has been formally appointed Chief Brand, Communication & ESG Officer.
After seven years as Chief Information Officer at Orange Belgium, Javier Diaz Sagredo will leave his position on 30 April. Following a handover period with his successor, he will work for the Orange Group’s European division, where he will be responsible for strategic IT projects, including the implementation of IT platforms and resource sharing.
Effective 1 May, Olivier Bornet, currently IT Director of the Digital Customer Factory at Orange France, will take on the role of Chief Information Officer at Orange Belgium.
Olivier Bornet began his career in 1992 at France Telecom in B2B sales, before developing broadband internet services on cable networks. After an innovation-focused MBA, he joined Wanadoo's marketing department, where he moved into information systems in 2003. He then took responsibility for the Consumer Order-Delivery Information System for Orange France, followed by Digital, contributing to its strong growth. He plays a key role in integrating business, technological, and operational challenges to enhance customer experience. Since 2024, he has also been leading generative AI initiatives for customer relations and, since October 2025, has served as interim head of the Digital Experience Factory.
Orange Belgium’s Board of Directors has also validated the nomination of Nathalie Rahbani as Chief Brand, Communication & ESG Officer.
Nathalie Rahbani has over 20 years of experience in marketing, communication, and brand strategy. She has worked at several advertising agencies (VVL BBDO, Duval Guillaume, De Vloer/DDB, LDV United) as well as at DPG Media and Telenet, where her expertise and creativity have been recognized with several awards.
In October 2025, she joined Orange Belgium as Director of Brand & Sustainability, responsible for developing the brand portfolio and deploying Orange’s ESG strategy. She also assumed responsibility as Acting Chief Brand, Communication & ESG Officer on the Executive Committee.
Xavier Pichon, Chief Executive Officer at Orange Belgium: “I would like to sincerely thank Javier for his expertise and commitment to Orange Belgium, particularly for his pivotal role in the evolution of our IT operating model, the integration of VOO, and the implementation of numerous applications that have become essential for our company today. I am delighted to welcome Olivier and Nathalie as Chiefs on our Executive Committee. Their expertise and leadership qualities will be key assets in realizing the major ambitions of our new strategic plan, ‘Trust the future’, and supporting our development in Belgium.”
