Orange Belgium appoints Matthieu Bouchery as Chief Financial Officer

Orange Belgium today announces the appointment of Matthieu Bouchery as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective 1 July 2026. Matthieu Bouchery will succeed Antoine Chouc, who will step down from his role as CFO on 1 April 2026 after several years of dedicated service to the company to become Chief Financial and Strategy Officer at Orange France. To ensure continuity during the transition period, Gildas Bouchet, Controlling & Strategic Planning Director and Deputy CFO of Orange Belgium, will assume the role of CFO ad interim from 1 April 2026 until 30 June 2026.

Matthieu Bouchery, who graduated from ESSEC Business School and Télécom ParisTech, brings more than two decades of international financial leadership experience within the Orange Group.

Since 2019, he has served as Head of Group Financing & Treasury, where he has been responsible for the Group’s global financing strategy, funding programmes and treasury operations. Prior to that, he held several senior leadership positions within Orange, including Head of International Sales Development at Orange Business and Head of the Group CFO Office.

Earlier in his career, Matthieu Bouchery worked in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions within the Orange Group, after starting his career as an analyst in telecom financing at Société Générale.

In addition to his executive responsibilities, Matthieu Bouchery currently serves on several boards within the Orange ecosystem, including Orange Belgium and MasOrange in Spain.
