Orange Belgium is proud to announce the launch of theTrophée de l’Indépendant – Trofee van de Zelfstandige’ (formerly organized by VOObusiness), an event designed to highlight the many self-employed who keep the Belgian economy alive and enrich the customer experience. Orange Belgium strengthens this year’s edition by opening it up to Flanders for the first time in addition to Brussels and Wallonia.

As a committed partner of entrepreneurs, Orange Belgium wants to salute and reward all the passionate self-employed people (and small businesses up to 9 employees) in Belgium by highlighting their initiatives and skills in the service of the customer experience. Indeed, guaranteeing excellence in customer service is part of Orange Belgium's DNA and its ambition as set out in its ‘Lead the Future’ strategy.

In addition to the awards, it is a valuable opportunity to meet people and share experiences, enabling everyone to progress within the self-employed community in Brussels, Flanders and Wallonia. Thanks to inclusive support, feedback from participants, inspiring articles and numerous initiatives, this prize embodies Orange Belgium's desire to support the self-employed in enriching and perfecting their customer experience.

Werner De Laet Chief, Enterprise & Innovation Officer at Orange Belgium: “In a world where small businesses are the pillars of our communities, Orange wants to highlight and reward the real heroes of the local economy.
