Orange Belgium offers free access to the first weekend of the Jupiler Pro League to all its Love Trio customers

Orange Belgium wants to make the Belgian football accessible to a broader public. After reaching an agreement with Eleven Sports on the broadcasting rights, and announcing a sharp price of 10,99 euros for its Belgian football pack, Orange Belgium goes one step further and will offer the access to every match of the first Jupiler Pro League weekend to all its Love Trio customers.

After reaching an agreement with Eleven Sports, who beholds the rights for the Belgian football championship, on the broadcasting of the Belgian football for the next five years, Orange Belgium announced earlier it will offer a new football content package, accessible to every Orange Belgium’s customers – convergent and mobile – which includes three new channels, entirely dedicated to the Belgian football championships. The objective: allowing a broader public to get access to the Belgian football, and free it up from the conventional large and expensive premium packs.

To go even further, Orange Belgium today announces it will offer access to the matches of the first Jupiler Pro League weekend these 8th, 9th and 10th August to all of its Love Trio customers, by allowing them to watch the three new dedicated Eleven sport channels, free of charge.

Furthermore, the Belgian football pack is offered at the highly competitive price of 10,99 euros for every customer – convergent or mobile only – and the 3 existing Eleven Sports channels covering the international competitions remain included in Orange´s standard digital TV package without any additional fee.

Christophe Dujardin, Chief Consumer Business officer of Orange Belgium, comments: “As a Bold challenger, we want to shake up the status quo on the Belgian market, and allow a broader audience to enjoy the Belgian football championships. Offering the first matches of the Pro League to all of our Love Trio customers is another proof of this commitment, and of the deep interest we have in offering the best content, at the best price, to our customers.”
