Orange Belgium reaches the significant milestone of 300,000 convergent customers

After launching its first convergent offer Love Trio (internet + TV + mobile) in May 2016 and now one year after the launch of its disrupting offer Love Duo (internet + mobile), Orange Belgium announces it has now attracted more than 300.000 Love customers.

Maiva from Anderlecht is the lucky 300.000th customer to subscribe to a Love Trio package, and was surprised with a meet and greet experience with the famous Belgian animator David Antoine, who announced him the great news that he would moreover be granted a full year of free service and a brand new Fairphone to celebrate this significant milestone.

Even though the Belgian convergent market has been for long massively dominated by incumbent players, Orange Belgium managed to build and offer a strong and relevant alternative with its Love portfolio. It has been built from scratch, and thanks to a long-lasting work on improving the regulation for wholesale access to cable networks.

Moreover, Orange Belgium continuously increased the quality of its fixed services by adding new channels to its TV offer, offering an internet boost to reach 400MB/s download speeds and, more recently, by adding for the first time a highly competitive content package for fans of the Belgian football championships, while the international football is still included in the basic package, free of charge. Orange Belgium is even prouder that all this has been achieved without ever increasing the price of its convergent bundles since they were launched in 2016.

Christophe Dujardin, Chief Consumer Officer of Orange Belgium, comments: “As a Bold challenger, we are thrilled to reach the significant milestone of 300.000 Love customers. While staying disruptive and competitive on the Belgian mobile market, Orange Belgium managed to build a strong position on the convergent market, thanks to a transparent and worry-free offer to the customers. The growing number of Love customers clearly confirms the quality of our offers.”
