Orange Belgium unveils new TV Box for a sustainable, ultra-modern TV experience

Orange Belgium is thrilled to announce the commercial launch of its new, eco-friendly TV Box, designed for a connected, future-proof experience. The device, available for installation for new customers starting at the end of June, builds on Orange’s proven Android TV platform, now with enhanced performance and a richer preinstalled OTT ecosystem. ​

A sustainable, tech-driven experience on Android TV

The new Orange Belgium TV Box is powered by the Android TV ecosystem and includes an operator-customized launcher for a consistent Orange experience. It leverages the same core partner expertise as today’s Android TV solutions, including Vantiva (device and firmware integration) and Zappware (custom launcher/TV applications).

Powerful device features for high‑end viewing quality

To meet the expectations of today’s TV audiences, the new TV Box delivers:

  • Android TV 14
  • 4GB RAM for fluid navigation and fast app switching
  • Enhanced processing power with a fast and energy-efficient chipset, plus additional memory/storage, for a responsive user experience
  • Full OTT experience available via Ethernet or Wi-Fi 6

The device comes with a selection of popular streaming and Belgian preinstalled OTT apps, including Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, RTBF Auvio, VRT Max, VTM Go, Streamz, Play, RTL Play, and more.

Built for everyday use, the Orange Belgium new TV Box combines innovation and sustainability:

  • Very compact and lightweight design for easy placement (7.5 cm x 6.3 cm x 2.4 cm)
  • Eco-friendly packaging and accessories
  • Low power consumption: less than 5W

Thanks to Orange, viewers can experience the ultimate in television entertainment, seamlessly combining the best of traditional linear TV and leading international and Belgian streaming services. The new Orange Belgium TV Box will be installed for new customers starting at the end of June. Existing customers will have the opportunity to upgrade to the new TV Box for €49 when opting for self‑installation.
