Orange breaks 2 other telco conventions: unlimited data in the EU and free MMS

As the Bold Challenger, Orange Belgium aims at breaking telco conventions again and again.  In 2017, Orange disrupted the Broadband and TV duopoly with its Love offer. The following year, Orange launched the first unlimited voice and data offer in Belgium. Today, Orange is proud to announce that all its Eagle customers now benefit of unlimited voice and data not only in Belgium but also in the European Union, without any price increase. And there is more: Orange residential postpaid customers are now able to send MMS free of charge both in Belgium and from the European Union. An unprecedented double move as Orange is the only operator in Belgium to do so.

Eagle customers are now able to surf as much as they want not only in Belgium but also in the European Union, without any risk of going out of bundle or bill shocks. All Eagle customers benefit from unlimited voice and data in Belgium and the European Union, without any action on their part. Another first in Belgium.

In addition, Orange is from now on the only operator in Belgium where sending an MMS from and to Belgium and from another country in the European Union to the European Union is completely free of charge for all currently commercialized residential postpaid offers, including Zen tariff plans, without any action on the part of the customer. (cf. chart below).

The MMS are widely used to send emoji or pictures. In total, 12 million MMS were sent by Orange customers in 2018.

"At Orange we seek to break telco conventions, again and again. When others say it is not possible, we look at what we can do, putting the customer first. We fiercely fight against price increases and bad surprises on your bill. That is why we promote unlimited and worry-free offers to allow our customers to fully enjoy their digital life. Today, we are proud to break two other telco conventions: unlimited data in the EU, and free MMS.”
