Orange upgrades its Shape business tariff plan: ‘roam like at home’ in 39 countries and territories and enriched offers

As from 15 June 2017, the EU roaming regulation that will allow travelling EU citizens to call, SMS and surf without surcharges in the 28 European Union countries (+ Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein) will be also applicable for businesses.

Enriched Orange Shape business offers

A few days in advance, as from 11 June, all Orange Belgium business tariff plans will be adapted:

  1. More countries: Orange customers will be able to use their call minutes, mobile data volume and SMS from their national bundle when roaming in the EU, just like if they were in Belgium. Orange goes even further by extending this advantage in 8 extra territories: Monaco, St-Barth, Vatican, San Marino, North of Cyprus, Jersey, the Isle of Man and Guernsey. This means that Orange customers can stay connected at no extra cost when travelling to 39 European countries and territories;

  2. Enriched bundle: Shape Basic, Plus and Ultimate Shape formulas will be granted up to 100 % extra mobile data volumes and unlimited call minutes and SMS.

Orange Shape offer provides companies with a flexible and simple telecom solution with the comfort of abundance for each employee: whatever their needs are, there is an adapted formula for every one of them. If their usage changes, it is easy to adapt the Shape profile. Besides that flexibility, an Orange business customer with a Shape tariff plan has a clear view of all the services and tools, he can easily follow his consumption and control costs.

Ingrid Gonnissen, Chief Business Officer, explains: “Thanks to the EU roaming regulation, business customers will roam carefree outside of Belgium, using their national bundle of call minutes, SMS and mobile data. Mobile internet is becoming more and more important. We see the mobile data usage of our customers increase rapidly (with an average of 7%/month for B2B customers), so we took the opportunity of the EU roaming regulation to increase our Shape offer. The new bundles ensure Orange business customers can communicate even more smoothly and efficiently, in Belgium as well as abroad. And colleagues call each other for free!

This important change will be automatically activated for all Orange business customers who have a Shape tariff plan as from the first invoice after 11 June 2017.

Solutions for frequent business travellers

Frequent business travellers can opt for a dedicated Shape Traveller formula that contains 3,000 minutes & SMS (international + roaming) and 3 GB of mobile data to be used in the EU and 20 other popular business destinations (such as Russia, South-Africa, India, the USA, Switzerland…). An extra surf card (for tablet) & iCoyote is also included. 3 new roaming options will also be available as from 11 June: Traveller, Traveller Data and World Traveller.

Peace of mind

Orange helps its customers to monitor their usage when they roam in order to avoid bad surprises: easy following of the mobile usage possible in the world and SMS alerts sent when a customer reaches 80% and 100% of its data bundle.

As from today Orange business customers are being informed of the offers evolutions, roaming conditions and options that will be effective as from 11 June 2017. A dedicated webpage is also available: www.business.orange.be/Shape_roaming
